Fall 2013

First Day of School
Waiting for the Bus
With the start of a new school year we fell into more of a routine but not any less busy at the Dombeck house.

School started and Makenna loves 1st Grade! She has Mrs. King this year and really likes her.

Makenna turned 7 this year and had a wonderful party to celebrate.
Her gift from us was horse riding lessons.

Homecoming Parade in Town
We took a trip to the local pumpkin patch and corn maze. Makenna's class also took a trip to the school forest and the pumpkin patch, I got to go along as a chaperone.

The kids had a wonderful Halloween. Makenna was a friendly purple witch and Robbie was a Rootin Tootin Cowboy! They got a ton of candy and we only made a few local stops.

Happy Halloween

March was a crazy month for us and fortunalty went by rather fast as we didn't have nice weather here in Wisconsin. April has not been much better but they are prediciting 60's for this weekend and next week. That will be a nice change of pace as we have had lots of rain/sleet/snow and can't reach 50 degree's!!

In March my Mom and I took the kids to Fort Myers Beach Florida. In search of warmer weather...however we had one of the coldest weeks we have ever had in Florida. We did have a couple of nice beach days but then the wind picked up and it got cold. We found other things to do and it was a nice get away anyway.

Had to have a picture with the "Geico"

Robbie turns 2!

Happy Birthday Robbie!!

Wow, where did that year go? Robbie turned 2 on February 27th.
We had his party on March 3rd.

He fell asleep on the way home from chruch and we had to wake him up to eat.
He woke up to a full house and was not sure what to think of it all but was very happy after a few minutes and went right into playing with the kids.
He ate a good lunch and then decided it was time to open his gifts. He couldn't stand one more minute with them all sitting in the corner looking at him!
He was so excited and got a lot of great things. His favorites were the "diggers"
He opened one of them first and then kept going back to it after each new gift to make sure it was still there!
It was so cute.

He had a Mickey Mouse cake and did good with blowing out the candles with a little help form his big sister.

All in all it was a great day with our wonderful family and friends!

Thank you so much for celebrating with us!

Couldn't wait to open presents!

On the actual morning of his Birthday 2/27/13

Time for Cake!

Robbie loves Mickey Mouse!

My Mom got these to put in church in honor of Robbie's Birthday and anniversary of Gotcha Day

Thank you for the train set - Paula!
