Travel Dates!

We received our confirmation email today with our travel dates!!!!!!

We are with the group arriving in Beijing China on Feb. 17th! Derek and I will fly out on Feb 15th as we loose a day in travel and we want to have a day to tour the Great Wall and also a "buffer" day just in case there are issues with our flights.

Gottcha Day is Feb 20th. One week before our boy turns one. We will get to celebrate his first birthday with him in China.
Our U.S. Consulate visa appointment is on Feb 29th and we will fly home on March 2nd!!

We are so excited to finally have our dates set!

Two more weeks and lots to do!!

TA!!!!!

We are so happy to announce that our TA arrived at our agency today!!!

We still won't be able to get our CA (Consulate Appointment) scheduled until everything opens up after the Chinese New Year.

But we should be going to China on the 15th of February!

I am so happy to finally have our TA it's an incredible feeling to finally be able to say we are going to China to bring our son home!

This makes it so real and I have so much to do in the next three weeks that I hope it goes by fast!

No Such Luck...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.
We have been in a sort of holding pattern around here lately.
We have been waiting for our TA to come, and it should of been here last week but no such luck and we are still waiting.

Our agency says it still could come on Monday so we will see.
It's now the Chinese New Year so most of China will be shut down for part or most of this next week.

So we wait....and wait...and wait........................

I am sick of waiting! I want my son home NOW!!!

We should still be able to travel in February but not as soon as I would like.
As with anything it's out of my control and I have to turn it over to God and learn to follow his plan and not try to make my own.
We will travel when the time is right.
